OUR MISSION
The mission of IN THE FARM, Inc is to facilitate programs and projects that will increase the Natural Networks of Supports of young people with autism, other developmental disabilities and their families through education, the development of independent living and vocational skills and family supports.
What are Natural Networks of Support?
Natural Supports are any assistance, relationships or interactions that allow a person to secure, maintain and advance in the community of his/her choosing, in ways that correspond to the typical routines and social actions of other people.
OUR GOAL
Through Education and Guided Practice; for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities to gain the skills and supports to become more independent and included in the life, work and play of their community.
